A residency with Hamilton’s Factory Media Centre

Artist Statement

Fascia (noun): A band or sheath of connective tissue investing, supporting, or binding together internal organs or parts of the body.

Some research suggests emotions can be stored and channeled through the fascia beneath our skin. What happens when the invisible becomes visible?

This Open Studio was the culmination of the &NOW Production Residency, hosted by Factory Media Centre in Hamilton, Ontario in the spring of 2023. This residency focused on the creation and development of new or existing work and experimentation with new media form and content.
